Shared Photo: Tully, Elizabeth and Ann Gorman. I do not know where in Ireland they lived, or the parents names. Help?

I wanted to share this family photo of my great-grandmother, Elizabeth Gorman Borgquist (at center) with the community. I believe the other two are Anne and Tully Gorman.  I believe the woman at right is Elizabeth's sister; and the one at left could be her mother?  Location: house built by her husband John Borgquist at 7 Minton Place, West Orange NJ. Date: around 1890s.  I do not know Elizabeth's parents names nor where in Ireland (Irish Free State) they lived before they emigrated in 1873.

tree on Ancestry.com. Has married Feb 19 1884,Brooklyn New York.

1900 Census has Elizabeth born Dec. 1865

I have Gormans in my family line (not your ladies though), and have discovered that the Gorman name is not uncommon across Ireland - you need additional clues.

Sometimes I  have found clues inimmigration documents, equally often in obituaries. Random searches of Irish records, even when the County is known, can create confusion.

Hi Mark,

Yes, I am aware that Gorman is a very common Irish surname.  That is why I gave as much information on MY Gormans as I have.  I've been looking for more than a decade.  My greatest hope now is that someone with access to St Ambrose church records can help.  And I intend to keep on looking until I find them or can no longer function.  thanks for your comments.
