Did not find him at familysearch.org or on a Google search.

Do you have any additional informatiion such as the name of his spouse, marriage year and location? Did he live in Philadelphia all his life or would he have moved elsewhere? Do you have his death year and loncation?
As I understand the information my family has given me, Wilson was married to Catharine H Ryan, in Philadelphia, on Dec 20, 1821, and he died on July 9, 1834.  They had a daughter, Sarah, who was born on Aug 25, 1825.

"United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M4CV-4CV : 9 November 2014), Sarah Bechtel in household of Catharine Bechtel, Philadelphia, Middle ward, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; citing family 976, NARA microfilm publication M432 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

Based on your recent information which I entered at familysearch.org , there was nothing found on Wilson Lee Bechtel married in 1821 and died in 1834.

The closest I found was not very close at all. Maybe someone else can help.

Maybe another resource would have it.

Thanks for the effort, and your results.  I will consult with my sister to check for any variations.

There seem to be more with the Bechtel surname in PA than other states, followed by Ohio and Illinois. Most other states show the surname too.

In England, most Bechtel's seem to occur in London.

Wilson Lee Bechtel *baptized as Bechtel) was my great=great=great=grandfather. He was the son of Jacob and Sarah Bechtel. He married Catherine Ryan and had two daughters—Mary and Sarah. sarah married her cousin (third, we think), Jacob Hortter Bechtel. son of Peter Bechtel and Margaret Rex Hortter Bechtel. Wilson was a shoemaker in Philadelphia (as were many of the Bechtel relatives. Peter Bechtel (Jr.) was Wilson's contemporary. Peter's father, Hans Peter Bechtel. son of Jacob Bechtel.son of Christopher Bechtel, was a papermaker who owned mills on Cresheim creek in Philadelphia (Germantown area)/ My brother is working on a wikitree and I have various documents supporting the lineage.

Husband of Catherine Ryan, Father of Sarah Bechtel, Who herself married Jacob Hortter Bechtel of Germantown. According to his diary they were cousins. However, whether this was strictly true, or just acknowledgment of their last name being the same I am no longer certain. I don't have any other information on her parents than that. I've posted quite a bit of information on Sarah Bechtel's descendents which is searchable on Ancestry.

I don't know if this ink will work for others

He had one other child, who I've not been able to find.
