do anyone here know how i public my profile i have put photo on please

i found out at last how to put photo on my profile now i cant work out how to public it i have seen some lovely profile here where i can se people have put photo and other things under the profile and badges but i cant found out how to make other look at my profile.

when i open it with out login i cant se the photo under my profile

i hope there is a kind person that will help me out please

Unfortunately there is no way to do this.  Photos for living persons remain private except for a thumbnail.  (One workaround): If you add someone to the trusted list for that particular profile, they will be able to view the photo.

Thank you all the people I have put under my profile are dead and there profile are open. I know it is properly something simple so it is open to se for other, because I can se it on others profile so please can you help you will certainly save my day.

Hello Susan add a free space photo page for your photos, at the top of each page on the drop down menu you will see Add go to add new thing and that is where you add free space pages. If you keep the photo page open the photos will show up on your profile Terry

Did I get it wrong?  For instance, if I have some photos I wouldn't mind to share with living persons in the photos, I can put these on a free space page with open privacy?  I tried to do it by associating an image from my profile to a free space page but I don't know how to associate the image to the free space page since the free space page doesn't have a Wikitree-ID.  I tried the URL but that didn't work.

Hello Vincent if you have a open free space page for photos like this one http://www.wikitree.com/photo/gif/Terry_s_Photos-122 add Space: name of the page, and you can add them to profiles. The only problem is if you add the photos to the higher level privacy profiles  from the photo page  it will make that image private

OK I think I understand.  If there is a photo on a profile of a living person then this would have higher level privacy.  So the workaround is to not put the photo on the profile (which would cause the photo to have a higher level privacy), instead put the photo on a free space page only and then create a link to this free space page from the profile.  I see.  Clever!  :)

Yes exactly Vincent, if you want to add the photo to open or lower level privacy settings, once you add any profiles with higher level privacy that photo will only show up as a thumbnail to members
