There are many Emeline Blake's who were born in the United States. They include WV, CT, MS, VT, NY, AL, MA, ME, OH, TX, NH, GA and probably other states.
Do you know what state she was born in and what year?

There is information in western massachusetts Belchertown and if you google Princess Morning Dew, some information comes up. When I had done research I was able to find some pictures I think through Ancestry. it's been a long time since I looked at that information because I don't think they are related the areas fro John and Johnathan are different. I'm looking for William W Blake who was said to be born in york state (NY?) His Father is listed on his second marriage certificate as John Blake born in Ellsworth NH. I'm not sure if he had any sisters but it mentions that Emeline had a brother and that they were adopted by a Johnathan Blake? I'm not sure if my ancestors are related, but there are family stories that there is native american relatives somewhere in our line. Having troublle finding more about William or John and whether they may be related to this Emeline. She and her brother were adopted by a Johnathan Blake. The older the information is the harder to figure out who is in the household like on the 1820 census and further until it changed in 1850 I think which lists everybody by name.

I am a direct descendant of Aaron Munsell and Emmeline Blake. My genealogy DNA test revealed NO INDIAN ANCESTRY. I would encourage other descendants to take a DNA test as I did and confirm presence or absence of INDIAN ancestry.
I have the proverbial brick wall with Emmeline Blake. For now her parentage remains unknown until I find convincing evidence.
To those who have done a lot of research to find her parentage, thank you very much!
Also a descendant(Aaron, Everline, Frederick, Robert) My father and my sister and I have native ancestory. No proof where it came from but Emeline is still the likely suspect for us.

There is a study done by an Archivist in Massachusets Stone House Museum.
Emeline Blake AKA Princess Morning Dew. There is a picture of her,a pretty
Indian Lady with poney tail hair. Of course no way to prove it was her.
