I would like to do the corrections before the Data Base Errors Project Members have to do it.

On every profile to the right there is the headings My WikiTree, your WikiTree ID, then Add, Find, and Help tags.

You want to click on your own WikiTree ID!! Then a dropdown list will appear. About the seventh one down, it should say "Error Report". Click on that. It will show various generations with their errors if any.

That report covers your relatives within a specified degree of connectedness. If you're like me, some of those people aren't on your watchlist -- and there will be other people on your watchlist that aren't in this report. To get errors for profiles on your watchlist, use the approach that Anne B. outlined.

Thanks Eva Ekeblad for best answer!

There are more then one option from a number of options out there and how ever you go, there is plenty of work available to correct and connect our relatives and ancestors continuing in time, through the database error report system. We are all "cousins" here on WikiTree!! Thanks to everyone who is working on improving our WikiTree profiles each and every day!!!!

so what if we do not  know  the answers to make these corrections? would rather be able to make corrections my self instead of giving the problem to  othermpeople to search for these mistakes.

Martha: All relatives will find themselves on an error report if there are some type of error noted. It is more of a notification to the profile manager that there is some type of problem that needs attention.

I noticed you asked a question here: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/327548/project-bata-base-errors. I would go with their suggestions.

I always get an error message, but I just click ok, then on the left click Watchlists, then click on Go to Apps Server. It may ask for your login and id. It will then generate a list. I check it each week, to see if new errors are added.

Although I think there might be a glitch, because it didn't find all the "USA's before 1776, on my watchlist

Thank you very much! I will also try to check it each week.

Anne, what error message do you get when clicking http://wikitree.sdms.si/default.htm page?

Error in SDMS server

That is odd. Which browser are you using. Is there anything more specific than Error in SDMS server. It tells me nothing.

Firefox on a MAC. and that really is exactly what it says. Small window with an OK button. Like I said I just click the ok, the message goes away and I get the error report.

Using the search engine and your Wikitree ID

here is a report that includes all the profiles you manage.

http://wikitree.sdms.si/function/WTWebUser/errors.htm?WikiTreeID=+Pearson-3638&

Notice your Wikitree ID in the manager column ..

Copy and save the URL. Use it to search with.

One Way ..
