Cynthia, I thought I'd be able to help after my own recent success with research in the Danish Churchbooks, Census, and Emigration Records with my husband's great grandfather (also a Jensen), but I'm afraid all I was able to do was add a bit more US census information and rule out some leads. I did find the 1900 census which says he was born in April 1880 instead of January 1880, which makes things a bit murkier. My husband's grandfather's brothers had some memory errors when it came to their own birthdays and that may be the case here. But without being able to find Andrew in a US census with his parents to confirm their names or to find his 1906 marriage record which might list his parent's names, its difficult to rule things in or out in the Danish records.
Anyway, here is what I found for what its worth. You did not do at all badly in what you found on your own.
