Why are full siblings listed as "half" siblings??

Question

I added one of my mom's siblings to her record, but it's listing my uncle as a half sibling. Does anyone know why that is?

You have to make sure that the mother and father are listed as the same on all profiles if one doesn't have one marked as someone being there mother the system believes that they are half siblings. I'm sure someone can help you with checking this if you post a ID of the profile in question

Somehow you created duplicate profiles for your grandmother and her mother. (This sort of thing happens sometimes.) Your mother is connected to one of the grandmother profiles and your uncle is connected to the other.

I proposed merges to combine the duplicates.

Thank you so much Ellen and Dennis! I noticed something was wrong yesterday, but I didn't know how to merge them. I only started this yesterday (5/11), so I'm still learning. :)
