What is that you want to add to your father's and grandfather's profiles??
We have some categories for Inventors. The parent category is here:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Inventors
To use that, you "drill down" to the lowest category that fits with the profile you're working on. Based on your father's obituary, he was born in Ohio and died in Washington state. So, depending on where he was when he did his inventing, you could put either:
[[Category: Ohio Inventors]]
or
[[Category: Washington Inventors]]
These statements would go at the top of the free-text area above the == Biography == header.
If you can track down the patent information, you could also enter citations for that, and of course, any relevant stories you might have would be great, too!
