Linking: Find A Grave and WikiTree / WikiTree and Finda A Grave

I know that many of us, when we find an ancestor on Find A Grave, add the link to their memorial to their profile on WikiTree.  But are you also adding the link to their WikiTree profile on their Find A Grave memorial?

Just a thought :)

I decided to add Virtual Flowers for Ethan Smith: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=31024079. I previously added his DAR recognition.  I may try again to make the WikiTree link clickable.

Oh nice, I like that, even with the WikiTree image.  Cool!
But  you didn't put a Find A Grave category in his profile.....
It seems that there was a small Wikitree widget at one time but I may be mistaken.

I have not done the reverse because I am not the manager for most of the FindAGrave files I encounter. It would be pretty easy to add a link to WikiTree in a Virtual Flowers entry.  I do add DAR ancestor numbers in the Virtual Flowers section with a Betsey Ross Flag icon.

That's a neat thing to add too Kitty.

Hi, that is a really neat idea. I have my family members off taking pictures of headstones. Sorry but is this easy to do?

Hi Janet!  It's not hard at all. If you are the manager of the memorial you can just add the WikiTree link into the bio section on Find A Grave. If you aren't the manager you can leave the link in the Virtual Flower section (kind of like the public comment section here on WikiTree.)
