• Name of errors changed to suggestions.
• Added grouping to suggestions. That changes the ordering of errors suggestions in table.

  • 845 Project box template direct usage
  • 848 Error in template parameters
  • 861 Inline citation doesn't start with ref
  • 862 Inline citation doesn't end with /ref
  • 863 Missing references / tag
• Removed suggestion 116 Private profiles to open. it is the same as 109 and 110

Previous News

• Delete and rename BOT for Categories mostly finished.
• Added Probably to Location and name errors.
• Implemented "new" rules for open profiles. Increase in errors 109. 110, 212 and 312.
• Category dump is now performed daily, so category search and category navigator are up to date.

Aleš if you mean 861, 862, and 863, I did that the day you asked.  I apologize.  I didn't tell you I had finished.  Does 845 and 848 need looked at?

Ales, the GEDCOM DeCoursey report did not update on August 27th.  ???

Custom reports are still being generated. I start those reports after I publish new results. They will be finished soon. DeCoursy is at the end of the list.

I just checked and I have 9 incorrect inline citations with <ref> or </ref>.  I am so glad you added this to the "suggestion" list Aleš because when our citations aren't formatted correctly, the sources often do not show up!

I also really appreciate the citation suggestion. I had about 20, such an easy fix that actually makes quite a big difference. Thanks Aleš!

I had these too, when someone else edited the biography on the profile.  Good catch on this error,  sorry suggestions...lol

would be better if the check was done when saving a profile..... now the feedback is coming in best case a week later if you find the Suggestion menu option or you never get the feedback if someone else fix it...

Todays workflow to find a missing <ref> tag

• a Wikitree dump is done
• dump is downloaded to Slovenien
• processing is done in Slovenien
• report created
• report published 
• active action from users 
  • ==> yes you missed a <ref> 4 days ago when you saved the profile

It would be useful to have a warning like for dates and missing gender etc. that already exist. Might be confusing for newer users though? It seems to take people a while to understand the inline citations.
