Are the Langford and Lankford familites of Kentucky and Indiana, the same or different line??

Question

Start with Walker Lankford/Langford from North Carolina, married Mary Warren from Kentucky. There is a line of Lankfords but a similar line of Langfords. Can anyone clarify this, please

I am primarlily tried to see if the Lankford and Langford family are the same or different families totally
