I just received this email from Roberta Estes:

"At the Family Tree DNA conference, at the end of today's session, Bennett Greenspan announced a 7 hour sale - from now until 11:59 tonight - Houston, Texas time.

Family Finder is available for $49, unlimited number of kits."

This is as cheap as it gets.  So if you have been thinking of getting tested at FTDNA this is the best time to buy.  Note: this is for the autosomal test only.  Not Y-DNA or MtDNA.

Looks like it just went up to $59 instead of $69, so presumably that's the new Thanksgiving sale price.

Yep, it's now past midnight in Texas.  You are probably right.  $59 is a very good price too.  Not as nice as $49, but nice :-)

They've got a new page up saying that the $59 price is good until the end of the year, and have sales on their other tests as well.  I assume that the standard $12.95 shipping fee still applies.  I updated the Thanksgiving sale post.
