Hello Betty. I have not located parent's of Hardy yet. the earliest record I have for him so far is the 1806 and 1807 GA. land lottery for Oglethorpe co. GA. which he did not win any land. 2nd. is his marriage record in 1808 IN Oglethorpe. 3rd. is of him and his wife being received and dismissed several times from the County Line Baptist Church in Oglethorpe in the 1820s. 4th is the will of Sarah Owen of Wilkes co. GA. JUL-27-1828 which hardy was a witness. 5th. is a land deed between John Moore and Hardy Bullock in 1834 Oglethorpe co. 6th. is 2 newspaper articles from the Southern Recorder Mar-19-1839 and NOV-19-1839 one is for letters of administration the other mentions a suit against the estate of Hardy Bullock from John Moore for mortgaged property both in Oglethorpe. These records I got from Familysearch, The Georgia Archives and The Digital Library Of Georgia, all online.

Possible parents could be Nathaniel Bullock born 1738 Virginia, died 1802 Oglethorpe County Georgia and Mary Hawkins born 1745 Granville North Carolina, died 1830 Oglethorpe County Georgia.  I found this on another family tree so I don't know how accurate it is.  You will have to do your own research as I do not have any proper sources.  Use this as clues only.

Thank you, Patricia. I have researched this line and cannot confirm. I have 2 sources that have very different opinions that have what should be reliable sources but one says he was living in North Carolina and the other that he emigrated from England. Possibly his father emigrated to North Carolina and had a son? I'll keep at it.
