The Template for {{Uncertain}} seems to have been deleted. I tried using it on a profile this morning and now I get the Red Template:Uncertain was this a mistake or is the policy and style on using Uncertain changing

Indeed, it seems to be gone and there appears to be no replacement sticker either.
How very disappointing I liked using Uncertain when writing a biography so I could easily find what points needed clarification with sources. I truly hope they resurrect it

I think you want {{Uncertain Existence}}

No uncertain existence is only used if it's very likely the person never existed. It use to be {{Questionable}} The uncertain of which I make reference is only for specific points that need a source for the information. I often use it on a spouse where sometimes all evidence alleges that there was a marriage but the specific source to be certain is not known

You can find links to the Uncertain templates in Category:Research_Note_Boxes.

Who knew we had 3 of them!!surprise

That's where I got {{Uncertain Existence}} from, and that is not what is wanted.
Hi Lindy,

Thanks for your input. Although the {{Unsourced}} template or Research box could be used. I used the {{Uncertain}} template to only point out specific points. Not the whole profile being {{Unsourced}} One could allege another research or category for example {{Uncertain_Spouse}} however I never been a fan of huge stickers.
It use to clarify https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Uncertain of which I would use Research Notes to specifically outline my postulate or information that would confirm what I believe to be Correct although not sourced by a confirming source
