You have your pre-1700 certification, so if you have an appropriate source then you should be able to do the add. If there is a profile manager then it would be polite to discuss the change with them. If the information is from an Ancestry tree then that will not be a sufficient source, but if it is a record source from Ancestry that will be acceptable.
