My father's maiden name is Morete, and his lastname/surname is Paul, from Philippines. Do i have any ancestral here?

A maiden name is a woman’s surname before she marries and changes her name to her husband’s surname, so I am not sure what you mean when you talk about your father’s maiden name. Is Morete his first name?

Morete is his mother's  surname   before being married.   I was trying to trace the bloodline of my ancestor,  if its possible.  Thanks!
