LOOKING FOR IMFO ON SAM STEWART B:1840 IN EDIN.SCORTLAND LIVED IN TIVERTON RHODE ISLAND. CAME TO THE US WITH BROTHER ROBERT STEWART & JOHN HOLLAND. cottin mill workers. Robert was a farmer in Lewiston,me and his brother Sam went to Rhode Island. they had a sister Isabella that came to the U.S along with Jane Holland. SAM WAS MARRIED TO A IRISH GIRL MARY-------------

THE HAD 2 CHILDREN ROBERT B:1862 IN MAINE. AND SAMUEL B:1864 IN MASS.

CENCUS SHOW THEM LIVING IN VILLAGE TIVERTON R.I.

ROBERT STEWART: was my gggrandfather. Sam was born in 1838 Robert came to the U.S with Sam and John Holland. iSABELLA STEWART and Johns sister came to the U.S later.Isabella married John Holland and Jane holland married Robert Stewart.

SAM SERVED IN THE CIVIL WAR.

note dont think SAMUEL WAS BORN IN ENGLAND.HIS BROTHER ROBERT AND HIM LEFT ENGLAND IN 1854 ARRIVED IN NEW YORK ROBERT WAS BORN IN GLASGOW SCORTLAND.(fact)
