How to take last name off and change to unknown

Question

Hello. I can not remember on how to change a surname. I have just found out that Catherine was a unknown last name not the name I have as Martin. Can someone tell me how to change this to unknown ?

ON THE EDIT PAGE OF THE PROFILE sitting between the "middle name" slot and the Current Last Name slot is the AREA (NOT a slot) that reads "Last Name at Birth" <surname> and a ? mark in a green circle and [edit] in green print ... this is on the left side of the screen

You will encounter WARNINGS bout changing the LNAB when you click on [edit] so be prepared and you will need a concise explanation like "new information discovered"

She's not the profile manager or on the trusted list so she cannot do this.

You will need to be on the Trusted List to change the LNAB.

The only people allowed to call themselves "stupid" around here are those who have "first-hand knowledge" of someone who died 300 years ago.  All others just haven't experienced Wikitree long enough to navigate it with ease.
