This interest group is for the gathering of profiles of the Beardsley/Beardslee family who stood out in some manner or other. Distinction is intended to be a loose term, anything which the contributor feels makes a profiled person of special interest, as long as they are a Beardsley'{or any derivative spelling of this surname}'. Politicians, doctors, members of the clergy, scientists, vagabonds and scoff-laws, any and all.
The reason behind this interest group is a comment made by one of my nieces, "I thought the Beardsley's were a boring family, but they are really interesting!"
She was right, this family has it's share of heroes, bums, saints and sinners. This will be the place to list them all.
