There are many people here who will be happy to help you move forward. However, it is important that you begin the process by adding your parents and grandparents, with all appropriate dates and locations to the tree, so that we have something solid to work with, If you know anything about your great grandparents, that can help tremendously. A surname and a place just aren't enough to go on.
Begin adding your family, add as much information as you can, make sure your family tree is viewable, for deceased family members, I usually try to set the privacy level as low as possible, so that others can see vital information and use the search tools to find additional info.
Once you have added as much family as you are able, ask again and someone will lend a hand to help you move beyond what you know dor sure to new discoveries about your ancestry.
