Delete My Own Profile Photo

I want to delete a photo from my own profile.

Photos added to ones's own profile are private (red locked) and cannot be removed. Since I'm alive (as of this writing) I cannot change my privacy level and delete my own photo. What's the solution?

Hi Sandi,

Dennis is correct, that is the way to delete the photo from WT, once the photo has been disconnected, it remains on the system for 30 days incase you wish to re-attach the photo or attach it to a different profile, before being deleted from the system, as described in this short Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWAkQLkVAQc

On your image page, scroll down to the "Edit Image Details", and in the "People and Things in the Image", click the "Remove from Image" button, then at the bottom of the page, click the "Save Changes to Image Details" button.

Yes, I understand that's the way to disconnect the photo. How can I permanently delete it from the system? That's not really answered anywhere, is it?
