WikiTree has two options for ancestor charts, but the larger of the two is limited to 8 generations.

For a larger chart chart you would need to export your family tree (this is limited to 15 generations), import it into another program and generate the chart from there.

(Edit)

There is another option to view a larger tree. from the Dynamic Tree, you can expand the tree and view many generations, but I don’t think you can print it.

Thank you George, the 2 options for ancestors, are they the pedigree chart & the dynamic family tree? I really like the format of the pedigree chart bur would like to expand and print that.

If you go to your profile and click on the Family Tree and Tools tab you will see a 5 generation pedigree chart.

On that page if you scroll down to compact Family Tree, click on that link, and you will get the 8 generation tree. This is a rather compact tree. You can copy and paste this into a word processor document for printing, if you wish.

Or, you can scroll down to Printable Family Tree, click on that link, and you will get a 5 generation tree. It is somewhat abbreviated as there are no places given, and no marriage dates/places. I believe you can simply print this page from your browser. I’ve never actually done this because I don’t care for it because of what it does not provide.

Or, if you go to the Dynamic Tree, you can see more generations, but you get even less data. Dates are years only, no marriage date, and again no places.

There is no option for printing cascading pedigree charts, that is a chart of however many generations with 5 generations per page, and links for continuation charts (say, person 16 on chart #1 is continued on chart #2, etc). This is a standard feature on every desk-top genealogy software I’ve used.

It is actually quite easy to export a gedcom, upload it into your program, and print the charts. No editing of the file is required.
