Biography
Polly Alcott was born on 12 Jan 1800 in Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY. She died on 15 Mar 1871 (disputed - other records say February 18th) in Weedsport, Cayuga Co., NY. She was buried in Weedsport Cemetery, Weedsport, Cayuga Co., NY.[1]
She was married to John Eldredge about 1818 in Cayuga Co., NY. John Eldredge was born on 7 Apr 1774 in Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY. He died on 11 Sep 1844 in Marion, Madison Co., OH. He was buried on 12 Sep 1844 in Marion, Madison Co., OH.
In 1850 Polly Eldridge, (spelling differs) age 51, and daughter Susan E Eldridge resided in Auburn, N.Y. at the home of Peter and Jane Todd.[2]
