Biography

Valentine was born in 1830 in Grayson county, Kentucky. He was the son of Eathel Anderson and Agnes Nash.

In 1850, he was living with his parents and siblings in Richland, Phillips, Arkansas.^[1]

After his father's death in 1857, he returned to Grayson county, Kentucky.

He married Clarissa King on 01 Mar 1859 in Grayson county, Kentucky.^[2] They had a large family.

They were living in Grayson county, Kentucky in 1860. Their oldest daughter Emily was in the household.^[3] They were in Cany in Grayson in 1870.^[4]
