DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.

I tried clicking on your sources links and they do not work. Sarah Barnett Davis could not have been born in 1803 as stated as her son Jacob was born in 1808. Other sources have her born in 1784 which is more in line with the date of birth of her husband Abraham Davis.
