Biography

John was born in 1880. He was the son of John Barry and Laura Alexander.

John A Barry and Caroline Katherine Yost were married 24 Nov 1909 in Sumner County, Tennessee.

John was a career officer with the United States Army. He served over twenty years. He served in the Philippines, Fort Riley in Leavenworth, Kansas, and Washington DC (District of Columbia) among other assignments.

John A. Barry passed away between 1930 and 1937. He was buried with his wife Caroline (Yost) Barry at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia,
