Vetting documents but found this census for Burke, North Carolina [1]
This bears more research however I was able to find a number of records for Elijah:
A marriage record to Tabitha Bradshaw lists her birth year as 1786.
Another document lists a Captain Elijah Beach as being married to Prudence Beach and having a daughter, Anner Middlebrook.
It appears that an another document that Elijah may have died young and that his minor children were as William and Melia Mariah in the will. He was married to Tabitha Bradshaw at this time.
An 1810 census lists him in Burke. In his household are: a male under 10, male between 26 and 44, female between 26 and 44.

Elijah was born about 1770. He was the son of Justus or Justice Beach and Judith Bradshaw. He passed away in 1830. [6]
