Biography

Rhoda Best was born at Drayton, Somerset and baptised at Kingsbury Episcopi on the 12 of February, 1843.^[1] She was the daughter of Joseph Best and Hannah Gillett.

Rhoda's sister Eliza sponsored her and her sister Hannah to emmigrate to Australia on the 6th of January, 1863, however she did not take up the offer.^[2] She married William Cable in 1863 at Drayton.^[3]

Her death was registered at Langport, Somerset in 1925.^[4]
