Fatima Catherine Blanchard was born on January 17, 1828, in Rhinebeck, New York,^[1] her father, William, was 27, and her mother, Isabella, was 22. She married John Wesley Jemison Culton on November 17, 1846.^[2] They had six children in 14 years. Three of whom died in infancy. She died on July 8, 1882, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 54 of Heart Disease.^[3]
