Nathaniel Churchill was born on 9 May 1799 in Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada to parents Rev. Nathaniel Churchill Jr. and Eunice Elizabeth Kenney. He married Jerusha Freeman on 30 Jul 1822 in Canada. Children: Job Mark, Nathaniel, Mary Jane, Elizabeth, Eunice J, Samuel J.

Nathaniel was mentioned on a memorial in Munson-Christy Cemetery, Washburn, Aroostook County, Maine, United States with a death date of 9 Oct 1861.[1]

Hello. I'm researching my family in upper Maine, specifically the village of Washburn and Salmon Brook plantation and thought you might be interested in the following source as the author specifically mentions the 'early' Pioneers including "Nathaniel Churchill who came with his family from New Brunswick in 1826 and settled on what is now called the Stratton flat near the mouth of Salmon Brook." [p.127-8] Author Wiggin goes on to include more genealogical material about Nathaniel although this source isn't necessarily a biography of early village residents, it's more of a history book.  :-) Cheers.
