Rhoda was born 2 Oct 1787 to Brev. Major Harmon Davis and unknown mother in Newberry District, South Carolina. She married before 1820 her 1st cousin Rezin Davis III, son of Resin Davis Jr. She passed away 7 Apr 1852. [1]

Found another error in Mentzel's work. The Rhoda Davis that is married to Rezen Davis III is listed as both the daughter of Harmon Sr and Harmon Jr.
