Charles Dusenbury born May 18, 1730 in Peekskill, New York, died 2-9-1809 NY.
NOTE - the following marriage is apparently for Dusenbery-14 Charles married 8 August 1791 Peekskill to Mary Sarah "Sally" Conklin, Performed by Rev. Silas Constant, of the Presbyterian Church at Yorktown, NY. She was born 1760 New York, died 1805, Putnam, New York, she was also of Peekskill, New York, and they had several children, one of whom was Samuel Dusenbury born 4 AUG 1792 Peekskill, Westchester, New York died 12 JUL 1864 Bucksville, Horry, South Carolina. The Dusenbury Family reports 13 children born to this couple, but names unknown.[2]
Charles was one of the Commissioners who designed and built Croton Dam. [3]
During the Revolutionary War he served with Colonel Hopkins' 6th Regiment in Dutchess County Militia, also in Colonel Ludington's 7th Regiment.
