Roger moved from Preston, CT to Warrensburg (then a part of Thurman, Washington, NY), by 1810, (one source says he owned a farm in Argyle, Washington, NY) and finally to Blacklick Twp, Indiana, PA about 1820. He was 92 at the time of his death. He was a soldier in the Revolution. His brother was a captain in the same war, and Robert, another brother was on board a privateer, which ventured into the British Channel. Jacob, another brother was killed in the last Indian war in Ohio.
