Biography

Drury Banks married Elizabeth George, daughter of James George. James must have died in Warren County, Georgia by 1799. He was a son of Joseph George who died in 1770 in Orange County, North Carolina and his wife, Ellenor _____. Joseph's will is in Will Book A, page 125 and names wife Ellenor and sons Ambrose and James as executors. Joseph's will names son Ambrose, beloved daughter Peggy, beloved son William, Isaac, Jesse, Mary Hinsford and Catherine Riddle.[1]
