Biography

It has been said that Mary is the daughter of William Gilliam and Elizabeth McCormick.

The 1840 Census of Lawrence, Kentucky, lists an Archibald Ison adjacent to Gilliams and other relatives; however, the age seems to be not correct if this is the Archibald that married Mary Gillam. Census gives age as 40-49. This is too young for Archibald Sr. This cannot be Archibald, Jr as he was born in 1817 and would have been 23 in 1840.

Gilliam-1136 and Gilliam-193 appear to represent the same person because: Gilliam-1136 is clearly incorrect when compared with Gilliam-193. Individuals need to be merged to eliminate error.
