(Records of Quentin Cabell Smith): Andrew or his father, Andrew, established a ferry at Hannah Ford on the Elk River [Pea Ridge region]. At the time of his death, Andrew was age 72 years, 11 months 15 days.
(Excerpt of Pea Ridge Relations, Franklin County, TN): "In the Fall of 1812, the Presbyterian church of Fayetteville [Lincoln County] was organized. The first Elders were Andrew Hannah and Francis Patton. Private members were Peggy Hannah, Mrs. Patton [Margaret?], John B. Alexander, Barbara Alexander......" [General,U.S. Army?, and his daughter, Barbara, born Dec 1793, GA, who married Isaac Moore in Lincoln County. Francis Patton's will written 24 July 1852, probated 6 August 1852, wife Margaret and son George B. named. Earlier Patton deaths: Robert Patton, will probated 22 Nov 1847; James U. Patton, died intestate, George B. Patton, Admin. 27 Nov 1847; Robert N. Patton deceased, will probated 24 Apr 1848.]
("History of Randolph and Macon Counties, MO", St. Louis, National Historical Co, 1884 p 402 excerpt): "Judge H. [John F., son of Andrew] was born in Lincoln County, Tenn., March 25, 1822. His parents, Andrew Hannah and Margaret Patton, were natives of North Carolina. They moved from North Carolina to Tennessee, and after living there for twenty years, came in 1832 to Randolph County, Missouri, locating about two miles from the town of Huntsville, where the senior Hannah remained until his death in May, 1853. Mr. Hannah, Sr., was a man of great piety, and nearly all his life a ruling elder in the Presbyterian church. He was instrumental in the organization of the first Cumberland Presbyterian Church in this county, the first meeting being held at his house. He afterwards gave the land for the Sugar Creek Church and cemetery."
