William Higgins, son of Samuel Higgins and Temperance Kelsey was born on 22 October 1772 in Castleton, Vermont.[1]
In 1840 Higgins was living in Benson, Rutland, Vermont with a wife (possibly Betsy Cleveland, daughter of [Josiah Cleveland0 and four children.[2] The date of his death is not known, but it was after 1860, most likely in Vermont.
