Biography
Hendrick R. Lansing was baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany on 23 December 1737.[1]
Henry married Maria Marselis on Septemer 11, 1762, at the Reformed Dutch Church, Albany, New York.[2]
He was appointed firemaster of the First Ward in 1764. He helped his father in the 1770's repair weapons, lend financial help to the crusade for American liberties, cast musket balls along with being elected in January 1778 as a member of the Albany Committee of Correspndence. In the 1800s he was a merchant.[3]
Henry died on 9 August 1819 in Albany.[4]He was buried at the Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, Albany, New York.[5]
