Biography
Almeda Leverett was born on 22 Jan 1806 in Georgia, United States, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Leverett (1755–1834) and Mary Ann Griffin (1772–1850). [1]
Almeda (12) married William Mourman in Wilkes, Georgia on 20 Apr 1818. [2]
Almeda (15) married Charles Bussey (19) (born on 29 Jun 1802 in Jasper, Pickens, Georgia; son of Benjamin West Bussey and Mary Molly Burgamy) on 1 Jan 1822 in Putnam County, Georgia. [3] [4] Their children were:
- Martha Bussey (1822–1910)
- Thomas Leverett Bussey (1828–1916)
In 1850, Almeda (44) living in Carroll, Carroll, Mississippi. [1]
In 1860, Almeda (54) living in Anderson, Texas. [5] Almeda died on 16 Nov 1876, aged 70.
