Biography

Elouise was born November 14, 1908 in Huntington, Arkansas to Thomas Charles Lewis and Ola Della Cowan. She married Samuel Leroy Whedbee September 2, 1927 in Sebastian County, Arkansas. They produced two children: Charles Lindsey and James Lewis. This marriage sometime after 1940. She later married Nathan David Cumbie. They had no children. Elouise passed away March 18, 1992. She is buried in Dayton Cemetery in Dayton, Arkansas.
