Alice was born in about 1207, probably in Egremont, Cumberland, England. She was the daughter of Richard de Lucy and Ada (Morville) de Lucy. After her father's death, her mother, Ada, married Thomas de Multon [1].
Alice married Alan de Multon, son of Thomas de Multon and Sarah de Flete, before 1219. Alan's father's second marriage had been with the widow of Richard de Lucy, and he had given a thousand Marks to the King for the wardship of Alice and her sister Amabel who were the heirs of Richard de Lucy. [2] Subsequently both girls married their step-brothers, Thomas de Multon's sons by his first marriage.
Alan and Alice had 1 son & 1 daughter. [3][4]
