You are mixing together two men, father and son, both named Samuel Overton. The father was married to Rebecca Booker who married James Jenkins after Samuel Overton died. Samuel Overton left an estate in Amelia County, VA. The appraisement was made 23 July 1761. The Revolutionary War material you have provided was for the son Samuel Overton who was born about 1759 and died in Washington County, KY 30 Apr 1836. The son Samuel Overton married Frances or Fannie Cosby around 1787. The four children you have listed are the children of Samuel and Fannie.

Samuel's wife Rebecca reportedly remarried in 1764. It is likely that Samuel was dead prior to that date. Given that logic, it would also appear that his son Moses, is probably accurate, but the listing of Amelia Booker Overton would not be his daughter, but possibly a grand daughter
