from Jouett Taylor Prisley family history and genealogy:
Jacques Parque was a French Huguenot immigrant to Ireland. In 1723, he arranged his 16-year old daughter, Rebecca's marriage to 52-year-old John Walkup, who died four months after the wedding.
Four years later, Jacque's daughter, Rebecca, married William Caldwell and left Ireland with the Caldwell family to start a new life in America.
It is assumed that Jacques remained in Ireland, but nothing more is known about him.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jacques by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jacques:
Does anyone have any qualms about adding the Huguenot sticker to this profile? He appears to meet the sticker requirements but I wanted to check per the "style guide".
Thanks!
