Maria Christina Petersen was born in 1872. She was the third child and second daughter of Johan Petersen and Anna Nicolaisen.[1]
The year she was born Christine boarded the Lammershagen in Hamburgh with her parents, her sister Annie and her brother, Johan, on 6 October, 1872, sailing for Queensland, Australia.[2] Christine died of hydrocephalus during the voyage on the 26 November, 1872.[3]
