Biography
Valentine Pickard was born on 12 September 1811 in New Brunswick, son of Humphrey Pickard (1780–1865) and Margaret Hawkins (1786–1880).[1]
Valentine (23) married Grace McLean (23) (born in 1811 in Scotland, United Kingdom) on 9 April 1835 in Prince William, York.[2] Their children were:
- Humphrey Pickard (~1836–1892)
- Robert Pickard (1838–1908)
- James Pickard (1840–1902)
- Abraham Beverley Pickard (1842– )
- Margaret A Pickard (1845–1849)
- Hepesybeth Pickard 1847–

Valentine died on 19 August 1888 in Lake George, York, New Brunswick, Canada, aged 76. He was buried in Lake George United Cemetery, Lake George.[1]
