Anna was born in Saxony around September 1822. She married Johann Ernst Altus in Nechern on 4 September 1842.[1]
She migrated to South Australia with her family on the barque Alfred, arriving in Port Adelaide on 4 November 1857.[1]
They lived initially at Bethel near Kapunda, where her husband died after only a few years in the colony.
Anna died in Petersburg (now Peterborough) on 19 May 1894, [1][2] and is buried at the Peterborough cemetery.[3]
