Biography

Isaac Shannon was born on July 17, 1832, son of William Shannon and Bethiah Ferguson.

He married Catherine Cunningham, and they had at least three children: Bethiah J. Shannon 1855-1856; Emma E. Shannon 1858-1859; and, William Isaac Shannon 1861-1950.

Isaac's FindAGrave memorial says that he was a private in Company G of the 25th Indiana Infantry. He is buried in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Missouri.
