Biography

Peter Lemuel Sink was born July 5, 1849, in Virginia, the second child and eldest son of David and Elizabeth Sink, also born in Virginia. By the time that he was eleven years of age, his family had moved to Clay Township, Marion county, Iowa, where they are found on the United States Census of 1860. [1]

Peter married Elizabeth Kingery, who died January 27, 1900, in North Dakota. Peter appears on the United States census of the same year, now aged 51 and a widower. [2]

Peter died June 17, 1903 and is buried in the Carrington Cemetery, in Carrington, Foster County, North Dakota. [3]
