Benjamin Soule, son of Benjamin and Abigail (Howland) Soule, was born after 1746 in Crumb Elbow, Duchess, New York. He married Dorcas Ward. They had at least one child, Elizabeth, born 4 December 1775, in Westerlo, New York. Daughter Elizabeth married Jeremiah Marks.^[3]
