Around 1707 in Virginia, Elizabeth Travers married her first husband Thomas Harwar Thomas Harwar's 1713 will identifies his wife and their three children:[2][3]

Around 1715, the widow Elizabeth Travers Harwar married John Tarpley (1695-1737).[1] John and Elizabeth had three children of their own in addition to raising Elizabeth's three daughters from her first marriage.[4]
Travers Tarpley (born before 23 Nov 1717- )[1]; married Elizabeth Sydnor
Given that Frances Harwar, still a minor, applied to have her stepfather John Tarpley (1695-1737) named as her guardian on 19 Sep 1721[5], Elizabeth Travers Harwar Tarpley must have died between the baptism of the twins on 28 May 1720 and the 19 Sep 1721 application for guardianship.
